Details:
Moments Notice is representin’ for Montana.

Founded as a three-piece in early 2004; the band has come a long way from an afterthought in rural western Montana to releasing their first full-length debut album: ‘Amber Lights’.

Now a two-piece multitalented duo; it’s hard to describe the music of Nicholas Schwaderer (Vox/Guitar/Keys) and Justin Green (Vox/Guitar/Bass/Keys/Percussion). While working with modern Pop/Punk influences; the band likes to explore all music and not limit themselves to simple power-chords and bland messages. You will hear pop/punk, fun tracks on ‘Amber Lights’ (see: ‘Green Eyes’; ‘March On’); but you will also hear tracks that mix it up. But don’t get the wrong impression; you won’t be forced into an ultra-migraine trying to comprehend the music.

The two have a unique aspect that many other bands aren’t fortunate enough to possess; they play the same instruments. Justin can modify ideas on Nick’s guitar licks just as Nick can reinterpret Justin’s keyboard riffs. Along with the time and effort Nick put into the production of this record; you won’t find any filler.

A staggering 30 tracks were the pot to choose the 13 tracks for the album from. This means that only the best-of-the-best is represented in this record.

Both Nick and Justin have their turns on tracks focusing on the piano. Justin’s very rural and somewhat patriotic ballad, ‘The Untitled Song’, promises to reach out to many of all generations. And the title track, ‘Amber Lights’, focuses on probably the most classic of subjects in modern song: lost love.

A dash of electronica is thrown into the mix; with distorted keys and synthetic beats making appearances numerous times throughout the record. There’s something for everyone in this album. And Moments Notice wants the message to be clear: this is NOT a collection of songs, but very much one cohesive album.
