Details:
After many years of writing poetry and prose, Renee picked up a guitar and started putting some of her words to music. The first song she ever wrote and recorded was a collaboration and part of a compilation cd (Center Of Six) in memory of her friend and fellow singer-songwriter, Josh Clayton-Felt. "I never wrote a real song before that. There was this need to do it, to say something, express something, but mostly to honor a friend who I have so much respect and admiration for as an artist and human being."
The passion to write songs grew. Renee met up with producer, Rich Jacques with whom she co-wrote and recorded her self-titled debut record.
An Ohio native, Renee headed out west to finish up art school, which she never got around to. Quickly she started to work in various art related capacities in the entertainment business, most often as an actor. Renee has starred in numerous film and television roles in including, "Where The Red Fern Grows"- alongside singer, Dave Matthews. She can also be seen opposite Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) in the film "High Roller". Renee received critical acclaim for her portral of "Cher" in "And The Beat Goes On.”
