Details:
With a fresh new sound and 11 original compositions, Stacy Jones and The Wolf Tones huff-and-puff-and-blow-the-joint-down on their new CD ‘Red Dirt Road’. Head out with the remarkably gifted Stacy and her talented group as they take you on a wonderful and enriching musical journey of soulful performances and strong songwriting all woven within a tapestry of musical styles.

Stacy Jones started on the piano at age four and began singing on stage with her Dad''s band when eight years old. She learned how to play the guitar and at fourteen picked up the harmonica. As she’s matured, she has developed a dynamic vocal styling and an energetic, youthful approach to the harmonica combined with excellent songwriting. Stacy has had the opportunity to share her cut-loose harp riffs and sultry chops at gigs and jams with many of the best blues musicians in Seattle. She has rocked the house at many Seattle festivals and gigged with the awesome Highway 99 Blues All-Stars.

After having played with several area bands Stacy has now joined with keyboard player extraordinaire Beth Wulff, a former member of the Northwest Women of Rhythm and Blues. Added to this is Beth’s husband, Jim Wulff, an accomplished veteran of the Seattle music scene who has played drums with some of the most awarded blues musicians in the Northwest. Stacy''s father, Tom Jones (not to be confused with that other Tom Jones guy), has played with all types of bands from Rock-a-Billy to Rhythm & Blues and is the band’s excellent bass player. Jeff Menteer has traveled the world and played with bands in several cities and adds his fantastic guitar talent to the band.

Stacy Jones and The Wolf Tones were nominated by the Washington Blues Society as Best New Band for 2007. At their live shows they mix traditional and roadhouse blues with their many original songs - all done with the band’s unique flavor.
