Details:
As singer songwriters emerge back into the mainstream of music, in hopes of exceeding the world of the pop star, the Erich Glaubitz band has approached the scene in a quick and steady rage.

Roaring through the airwaves of over 350 radio stations and captivating a loyal New York City and Long Island audience with music that is 100% real; no additives, no MSG, no annoying DJ''s, no red #6, no mindless lyrics, no preservatives, and no prefabricated teen pop clones with sparkley shiny teeth (yes, the EG band has cavities).

Their new album, Mystic chords of memory, the Erich Glaubitz band composes an array of rock, blues and funk, with the passionate voice and powerful lyrics from Erich himself.

Supernatural tunes like ''Family Photographs'' and ''My Religion,'' have surged to the top of the CMJ charts in over twentyfive radio stations across the US and Canada.

Not bad for a brand new release.

All songs on the CD come from Erich''s cultivating life experiences that are versified from the heart (no fluff or filler.) Who thought the truth could be so hooky? EG band history 101: Long, long ago in a century gone by, Erich Glaubitz sat in with one of New York''s hottest R&B bands, Initial Charge.

Within a week, the ruthless bastards had kicked out their present guitarist/vocalist and replaced him with Erich.

Erich in turn stole their drummer, Mike Ratti, to drive his new band.

To fill out the band, Mike suggested a former band mate, guitarist/vocalist Rod Monti.

The band then searched high and low for a bassist, trying several along the way, till finally, riding in on his white horse (or was it his green Honda?) came Pat Castania.

Then, like magic, the chemistry that is The Erich Glaubitz band was born.

The Band: Erich is the introspective, sarcastic, force behind the band.

Erich grew up listening to bands such as The Police, U2 and the Beatles.

He taught himself guitar figuring out Jimi Hendrix songs.

At Ithaca College, Erich studied jazz and classical music by day, but by he night was performing in all the local rock and r&b clubs (the real school).

After graduating, Erich began doing sessions for such producers as Nile Rodgers, Keith Diamond, Mike Appel, The Horsemen, and Terminator X, to name but a few.

Erich''s first two post college bands, Zone Patrol and Liquid, were signed by Ear Candy/BMG and Saturn records respectively.

Both bands were short lived, but Erich learned a lot from those two experiences.

Most importantly that he needed to surround himself with musicians that shared his vision, his passion, and his drive.

Erich can also be found performing stand up comedy--a talent which livens up the bands shows.

He also loves surfing and competing in cow-pie tossing contests--Ah, there''s nothing like the smell of fresh turd in the morning.

Pat Castania is the amusing, yet determined bass player for the band.

From his playing to his performing, Pat is pure energy.

His style combines elements of funk and classic rock.

He is heavily influenced by Flea as well as Paul McCartney and R&B great James Jamerson.

Pat is currently working as a web designer, but his first passion is to work at the airport selling carnations to pay for his search for inner peace...or was it to pay for hookers, I can''t remember.

Mike Ratti is the talkative, energetic drummer for the band.

Mike grew up loving to wack his stick.

His mother felt drums would help get his mind off of that... It didn''t.

But seriously folks, Mike is a veteran of the Rock and R&B scene, playing with such bands as The Mudmen.

He is an extremely versatile drummer who loves playing Rock, Jazz, R&B and Hip Hop.

After years of run ins with the law, he eventually got to know the fuzz so well that he got a job working for the Nassau police department, his current "day gig." He studied with Jethro Tull drummer, Doanne Perry.

Rod is the lovable, cuddly acoustic guitarist and backing vocalist for the band.

Rod is a student of R&B, loving the use of rhythm and syncopation in music.

Having perfect pitch, his vocal harmonies impeccably compliment Erich''s voice.

Rod "the bod" studied music at Brockport State College, paying for his schooling with the money he earned doing porno''s.

Rod also has written music for ABC sports and PBS news.

Besides doing music, Rod can be found creating and consulting for internet companies.
