Critically acclaimed Canadian musical theatre comedienne, Eliza-Jane Scott has been composing and performing her original music for a few years; the result is her debut CD entitled Scott''s Emulsion . Now based in Toronto, this popular performer plays throughout Southern Ontario.

Stylistically you may here echoes of Edie Brickell and Norah Jones. Influences include Lisa Loeb, Marvin Gaye, Joni Mitchell, Bjork, Elton John and Radiohead.

Recorded at Umbrella Sound in Toronto over the winter of 2002, and co - produced by Lori Cullen, it is a beautiful and approachable recording that allows room for the listener to enjoy her simple and earnest lyrics. Musicians featured include Ravi Naimpally, Drew Burston, Mike Olsen, Brian MacMillan and Chris Gartner, along with many others.
