Crack the Sky was formed in the mid seventies by John Palumbo writer and vocals and Rick Witkowski guitar . In 1975 the band released it''s first album, and Crack the Sky was declared by Rolling Stone magazine album of the year. Promotion and distribution problems prevented its widspread success.
