Mitchell: 12 Offertories for Organ, Opus 10

These twelve offertories are divided into three suites, each representing an aspect of the Trinity. They begin with the third aspect, however, and end with the first. They can be used in recital, as well as pieces for church service preludes, and some (3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 11) are appropriate as postludes also. They were written between December 1974 and early March 1975 when I was organist at the First (American) Baptist Church of North Hollywood, California.
