The Modern Day Disciples is an Urban Outreach ministry called to set the captive free through a relevant sound with the uncompromising gospel message of Jesus Christ. Birthed from a deep burden to reach out to a dying culture, the ministry of Modern Day Disciples has been marked by tremendous spiritual revolutions, transformations and growth. These three young men, Marco DeBarros, Isaiah Almeida and Ismael deBrito, have been anointed and appointed for this season to do more than just make music, they have been called to produce a sound that can be understood and received by this generation yet cause them to run towards repentance. The Modern Day Disciples was founded in 1998 as a group of 12 radical young men met daily for scripture reading, prayer and accountability. As their relationship with Christ deepened, MDD was formed as a method of expression. What sets this ministry apart from many mainstreams artists is their intense desire for worship during events and personal testimonies through their lyrics. Each experience with the MDD is a moment of transformation.
