MOONDANSE is an all acoustic and vocal trio, residing in the
Northwest, U.S.A. The band has been performing together for over four years. This CD represents their second recording. The trio is comprised of two males and one female. Their vocals are well chosen, with tight harmonies, and stunning acoustic instrumentals.
The music is what you would call a combination of Americana, folk, Traditional Western, Soft Bluegrass, Mountain, and contemporary styling. Many of the songs they perform are originals. The groups lead singer, Pauly Evans, is gifted with a beautiful voice which features tremendous audience appeal.
Their music is often compared to that which you''ll recognize from the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" Contemporary stylings are from the Blues Tradition, played and sung in the "Speak Eases" of the olden days.
