Personally my best track for this album is Raga Basanta and Bahar. It’s kind of new experiment with the Raga and Taal without crossing the limits. I really enjoyed this track while recording and I’m sure that our listeners will enjoy it too. Raga Basanta gives deep feelings of spring season, unlike other ragas; this particular raga is suitable for any time during this season. This track represents the importance of Sur(Melody) and Taal(Rhythm) which is also described by lyrics. Raga Bahar is unusual from traditional compositions, it shows the anaaghat sum which is to show first beat before it actually appears. It is also in tintaal 16 beat cycle. This is also a seasonal raga appropriate to play anytime during the spring season.
Raga Jogkaunsh is also a great track to listen, it’s a mixture of two Raga, raga Jog and raga Chandrakaunsh gives very melodious and interesting flavor. It comes along with both, flat and natural third and flat seventh note, this track consist with three parts. The first one Bada Khayal which is in Ek taal, a very slow 12 beat cycle. Second one is Chota Khaayal in tintaal. It is with medium tempo of 16 beat cycles. Third one is tarana a style of singing mostly in fast tempo with 14 beat cycles known as Ada chautal.
