Growing up in Raritan NJ, Lisa was influenced by a variety of music and as a child always enjoyed composing poems.
Her long-time partner Chuck Winch, a native of NJ, and also a talented songwriter, collaborates in the writing of some songs.
Together they have created a body of beautiful music.

Driving an 18-Wheeler for almost 18 years, Lisa has encountered many people, places, and scenes. One of the most powerful places she has encountered is the battlefield of Gettysburg Pa,where she was awakened by a great feeling of sadness. She said"I knew from that day forward there was something very special about that place".
The new CD ''No Longer Gray or Blue'' is a mixture of songs about soldiers from both sides, North and South, and how they were affected by their struggles of wartime.
In Lisa''s spare time, she is a Civil War Reenactor with the 2nd South Carolina,Valley Division. With a drum strapped around her neck, its "off to the beat of the drum". She has had many experiences on the field, in camp, and around folks who love what they are doing as Civil War Reenactors. These events, people, and places, have inspired many of the haunting songs on the CD "No Longer Gray or Blue". It is a wonderful compilation of songs, telling stories of how the boys may have felt in a time of war,and of loved ones yearning for their families. Its a wonderful CD about true life and real people.
