BIOGRAPHY OF SUPA-TIGHT A.K.A THA GIFT
SUPA-TIGHT A.K.A THA GIFT, born (Ronald Lennear Jr.): is a native of Los Angeles, California. His parents relocated to Pomona, California to raise their son so that he would not be exposed to the horrific gang violence that escalated in the early 70’s. SUPA-TIGHT, who is known to have no gang affiliations is the oldest of three children and has always been a positive influence in his younger sibling and friend’s lives. At a young age, SUPA-TIGHT started his musical journey in the 5th grade as trumpet player. Throughout his musical journey, SUPA-TIGHT has partaken in concert bands, jazz bands, orchestra bands, marching band, choir, and a R & B singing group transforming him into a musical phenomenon at that time. After completion of high school, SUPA-TIGHT migrated back to his native city of Los Angeles where he now resides.
Being a Conasueir of music SUPA-TIGHT, is an up and coming Artist, Song Writer, Music Producer, and certified Sound Engineer who graduated from Hollywood’s #1 recording school: “Musician’s Institute.” SUPA-TIGHT has been influenced by legendary artist like Grand Master Flash and the Furious 5, Run Dmc, LL Cool J, Curtis Blow, NWA, and many of the newer artists that has come in to the game. Born on the westcoast SUPA-TIGHT’S sound is a mixture of West coast funk, East coast swagger, with a Midwest to Down south groove.
SUPA-TIGHT brings a new type of music that is full of real life experiences with an energetic twist guaranteed to keep your fingers snapping and head bobbing. SUPA-TIGHT also brings his style and message to the world to let the masses know it is ok to be you and encourage people to achieve their dreams no matter what and where they are. His philosophy is, “Be Yourself and Not Them.”
Just like opening a book and letting your imagination run wild, SUPA-TIGHT tries to give his audience a visual conception with their eyes whenever he spits his lyrics on the mic. Realism is the message he gives in ever piece of work he is apart of. His music is not to offend anyone, so he encourage those not to be offended because he to is a proud husband, son, grandson, brother, father, nephew, cousin and life long friend.
