Erik Willis grew up in Kent, Washington, went to Thomas Jefferson High School in the Federal Way school district, and then graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Technical Communication. So where did music come in??
Erik began playing guitar at age 16 in college after his dad bought him a Fender Strat and a small dual channel amp which he played and played annoying his roommates in college to death. It was in college that he wrote his first song and he hasn''t stopped since then.
God has always been a big part of Erik''s life even from a young age. He began playing in New Heart Worship Center''s youth group and eventually was leading worship for the entire church in only a few years.
Soon after Erik was blessed with a $10,000 gift from a friend. His friend told him to make the album he had always wanted to make. 1 year later the album and production was complete. Erik is proud to present his debut album - Lift Me.

Erik Willis''s debut album is a strong effort showcasing Erik''s unique voice along with heavy guitars and driving beats to express Erik''s heart to the Lord in similar veins as David the Psalmist. This album is able to relate feelings of doubt and uncertainty while looking to Jesus for the answers. Erik played nearly all the instruments for this album, and the presentation is orchestrated very smoothly by producer Caleb Couch. My personal favorites are "Lay My Head Down", "Take All", and "We Worship You". While I am looking forward to a sophomore effort with more tracks and more lyrical content, I strongly recommend this album. If you like such bands as Skillet or Delirious? you should check this album out.

Wow Erik! I was so impressed with your album. It''s great to listen to all the way through. You know how sometimes albums have a couple of songs that are duds, but I can turn on your cd and listen all the way through and enjoy the whole thing. I think the thing that shows through the most is your heart for God. Your message seems to relate to my walk with God at this time as well. Thanks for the great cd. Kim
