March 9th, 2007 – UTS plays their first show at a local joint in their hometown of Vancouver, immediately wowing the audience and drawing lots of attention.
This attention included Social Code’s manager out of Edmonton, who offered an opening slot to UTS at the end of June 2007. This really sparked the fire for UTS.
Two Weeks later UTS’s exceptional live shows, clinched the band a spot on the Vancouver leg of the 2007 Vans Warped Tour.
At this time UTS is in the talks with producer Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara, New Pornographers, 54-40 amongst many others) about making a definitive debut album.
August 21st, 2007 – UTS steps foot into Armoury Studios (Vancouver, B.C Canada) with Redekopp to begin their debut album “Foam Faces.”
December 10th, 2007 – UTS plans to pre-release the album on iTunes.
