ANdy & mE’s “Splt Ourselves EP” is the second legitimate installment from this aggregate of characters. Sputtering out just shy of 34 minutes, this 7 song collection is titled once again, based around a double entendre. Firstly, it is essentially 2 separate pieces of work, each half being recorded about 1 year apart in different studios around Boston Massachusetts. Secondly, this was recorded as a way of taking a snapshot of the group from 2005-2007 in order to move forward. All of the parties involved (Andy Schulz, Geoff Guillard, Brian Padavic) except Aaron Guzik have decided to move on to other things. What this album captured was a fearsome full band set by these lads, something they are all proud of! This however, is NOT the last word from this name sake. Aaron, the songwriter for this, is still alive and has yet to pawn his guitar! So please buy this record so he doesn’t need to become a soccer dad prematurely.
