The Esmirelda & The Tidbits Bio
Introducing Esmirelda & The Tidbits, a colorful, outrageous Rock and Roll quartet who play songs about wild parties, self-medication, and being violated by a giant, yellow gorilla.
For those who may dismiss them as just another girl band, may we suggest you pay a little more attention...Ummm, hello....Two of them are guys...guess which ones, cause we''re not sure.

Here''s some basic facts:
DC area musician Esmirelda, who has been called a "fruity-assed mad genius" by Get Fancy Magazine, has reinvented herself once again with this brand spanking new band. She''s discarded the pink toilet that was once used as a prop. Still wickedly witty, clever and satirical, she''s won sixteen WAMMIEs (Washington Area Music Awards), and two Billboard Awards for songwriting.
After three recordings, and years of opening for lovely folks like GWAR;
Esmirelda formed The Tidbits.
It all started after drummer, John Grecco, had quintuple bypass surgery.
Playing Rock and Roll became part of his rehabilitation therapy. Some friends (Bassist, Francene Machetto; and Guitarist, Jimmy Driggers) came over to jam; the resulting snippets of tunes, or "tidbits", soon turned into complete songs. The friends became The Tidbits.
The songs are hook-laden, funny, pissed-off, and melodic. Definitely not boring.
Songs about insane parties, dirty fingernails, and a nightmare involving a horny yellow gorilla are featured on Esmirelda & The Tidbits'' first CD, "Big Yella". (Released in August, 2005.) It also features Ron Holloway, Fred Lieder, and Jaqui MacMillan.
Just remember that size does matter; and every ''Bit'' counts.
