Eternal Flow Records Release Debut Album
PHILADELPHIA, PA--Eternal Flow Records, a
Philadelphia-based Christian entertainment record
company, released its debut album, Elements of the
Soul, Volume I, on Friday, June 13, 2003.
The nine-track CD delivers a mixture of Hip-Hop, R&B,
spoken word and soulful tunes with Christian themes.
Featured artists include singer/songwriter Tashnyka
Tran performing "Now" and "Holy", lyricist Kidada
Stringfield performing "Warfare" and "Transcendental
Man", rap group Milk & Honey Cats performing "Mental
Motivation" and "National Wickedness" and spoken word
poet LaGracia "By Nature" Givens performing "Cat and
Mouse Chase" .
"I am very excited about the release of this project.
It''s been more than two years in the making and I
believe we''ve got a great sound that everyone will
enjoy. The project tried to show some diversity in its
musical selections by incorporating R&B, Hip-Hop, up
tempo, mid tempo and spoken word tracks. There''s
something for everyone," said Mark S. Bennett,
founder and CEO of Eternal Flow Records. Bennett also
lends his musical talents to the project by performing
two Hip Hop songs, "Poetic Definitions" and "Elevate".
The album was produced and arranged by Aaron and Lance
Gamble of Philadelphia. Studio engineering was
provided by Borris "Franz" Richards at Philadelphia''s
BMR Studios and L.A. Jay Edmonds, Los Angeles,
provided mastering.
Eternal Flow Records was founded in the spring of 2000
after what Bennett called much "soul searching."
"Eternal Flow was birthed through some soul searching
for my purpose. God spoke to me and let me know that
this was a major part of what he created me to do."
Bennett said the record company''s mission is to impact
the world with Christian entertainment that will also
be appealing to non-believers. "We want to cross over
into the secular world and actually bring some of
those people into the Body of Christ. What we present
to the public will have a moral core and be based on
the ministry of Jesus Christ."
