Details:
Featuring inspired lyrics, passionate vocals, tasteful guitar tones, and energetic rhythms, The Perry Case Band brings to life a positive message with their unique blend of Classic rock, blues, and alternative influences. Their music is driven by their desire to share a loving God as He meets us in the real world. Led by vocalist/guitarist Perry Case, the band also includes: Troy Spond on guitar/backing vocals, James Obermeyer on guitar, Kevin Horton on Bass/backing vocals, and Seth Ransom on drums.

The guys have had various backgrounds of musical experiences. Prior to forming, their backgrounds included both Christian and secular bands. In early 2006 Perry Case found himself in a place where the Lord was giving him song after song, but he was without a band to bring his musical ministry to life. He invited some musicians he had played with before to jam on the songs he had written. Troy Spond and Kevin Horton were former band mates of Perry’s in the Christian band known as Last Adam. James Obermeyer and Perry had played music together in the past and had known each other for a number of years. A friend through church got the guys in contact with Travis Johnson, a highly talented drummer in the area, to round things out.

The music came together rather quickly from that point. The songs that the Lord had given Perry had their outlet. Soon the guys headed into the studio to record their debut CD, Rest In You. In the months that followed, a call for restated focus was realized. It is important to the band to make sure that the focus of the band and it’s members stays on God, first and foremost.

The band was faced with a line up change in the summer of 2007, when Travis Johnson decided to leave the band. PCB was then blessed with the addition of its newest member, Seth Ransom.

Today the band takes the music and talent God has blessed them with where God leads. Their hope is to give their audience a way to connect with God through music that gives praise to His name.
