Details:
Jamestown, New York. Not exactly what you''d call a hotbed of Arts and Culture. It''s the kind of place where the leaves fall, right before the snows of winter blow through to kill everything in sight. Yet this barren northeastern locale might just find its place on the map.

It all started 5 years ago vocalist/guitarist Josh Rowley, guitarist Dave Trusso and drummer Ben Juul got together to jam on Nirvana songs in their garage. Eventually, after months of covers, they turned their attention to honing their own songwriting craft, and brought bassist Aaron Darr into the fold, preparing to take their own stab at greatness.

The result of those collective efforts is Everything Ends''s brand of melodic hard rock, that has been turning heads on both coasts. And while they ring with the influence of their collective CD collections, citing the likes of Nirvana, Staind, Glassjaw, and The Beatles, their songs carry a distinct vibe all their own. A lot of that flavor comes in the form of the vocal and lyrical contributions of Josh Rowley, a tightly balanced dichotomy of melody and aggression.

"The feeling of the song dictates the lyrical ideas. " Josh states. "If it feels like it needs aggression, I cater to that. If it needs a more flowing, melodic vocal line, I do that. I just take it where it needs to go. Lyrically, The songs deal with large variety of things. I try to make the meanings cryptic...universal."

He elaborates, "It can mean one specific thing to me, but to someone else it could mean something totally different. Broken relationships are a pretty recurring theme, but not just the typical boyfriend/girlfriend ones. I guess if you look back in history most of the great songs that have ever existed were born out of those kinds of feelings." If it ain''t broke, don''t fix it.

Forward 2 years, when a random encounter at a record store, put a bedroom-recorded demo into the hands of Los Angeles based engineer Dave Ahlert (Dave Navarro, Earth To Andy), who shared in the bands vision. The next step was a year long process of trying to pull something together, which ended in the band making a trip to the sunny shores of California to bring them together in the studio.

While the band had written and recorded dozens of songs on their own, this was their first trip into a real studio. And needless to say, the experience was an eye-opening one.

"Working with Dave, in a real studio, really let us look at the songs in a objective manner. We never really dissected them like that before. It''s really a process of breaking them down to the simplest level, and reconstructing them. Obviously certain things work in the studio that might not work in a live arena, and vice versa, so you adjust to accommodate that. It was painstaking to have to look at the songs in such a way, but it made them better as a result."

Right before venturing to LA, through an even MORE random encounter, the same bedroom recorded demos caught the ear of Los Angeles based Manager/Producer Thom Hazaert, co-founder of https://www.tradebit.com, who secured deals for bands like Chimaira (Roadrunner),Sw1tched (Immortal), Depswa (Geffen), and Erase The Grey (Universal), who also took an interest in the fledgling unit, and immediately took them on as a client.

Guitarst Dave Trusso states "We met Dave, and that was great. It helped us get to another level musically, and then we met Thom, who obviously has an impressive track record as well, and everything just clicked. "

He continues, "Now we know we at least have the team in place to take it to where we want to go. We''re from an area where there really isn''t anything. So it''s good to think that we''ll be able to do something on a bigger scale.
