Carl Ventis was born at the perfect time to have a Life as
a musician! At the advent of rock and roll. He started to play the guitar at the age of 14 and has never looked back. His influences include The Beatles, James Taylor, Sting, Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Paul Simon, Jude Cole, Toto, And so many more. He started to write his own songs at the age of 17 and in the past 2 year’s has won 2 major songwriting awards. He has also worked with the best as well John “JT” Thomas keyboard player and engineer for Bruce Hornsby, Steve Hornbeak Musical director for Faith Hill, He has also opened for John Denver and the list goes on. Most recently Carl has set out on his own solo career and will be releasing his premier cd “A Day in The Sun” in Mid January of 2008. He dose not just play songs, he tells about his life in Music and how the songs he sings have played a roll. Carl’s Own music is filled with honesty and a sense of who he is and where he came from.
