77 JEFFERSON is a band that borrows elements of reggae, dub, hip-hop, rock, and soul. Joel, Ryan, Miles, and Mike began playing in the summer of 2006 around Kansas City. 77 developed a Do It Yourself mentality and writes and records all of their own music. They are trying to reach as many people as they can by SPREADING REGGAE THROUGHOUT THE MIDWEST. 77 has played over a hundred shows including festivals such as Reggae by the River 2007, The Crossroads Music Festival 2007, Roots Family Reunion Festival 2007, and Jah Roots 420 Festivals 2007 and 2008. 77 recently completed their debut 15-song album, "SLEDGEHAMMER," available on Itunes and CDBaby March 11th, 2008. Their midwest spring/summer tour supporting Jah Roots kicks off March 13th at the legendary Wild Hare in Chicago, Illinois.
