Mike Kondol, a singer songwriter from Seattle: wrote the music, performed and recorded the songs for "Bluestar Highway". Ester Starling, a lyricist from Florida, wrote all the lyrics. Kondol observed one of the "Bluestar Memorial Highway" road plaques driving up the Pacific Highway towards Mt Ranier. These highway memorial plaques tribute all the soldiers "who defended the United States of America". It was the perfect title for this new CD "Bluestar Highway".
Being influenced heavily by Big Star also, it was a fitting coincidence.
This is the second CD collaboration between Kondol and Starling. The first cd, "Starling" is also available at CD Baby.
