Dann Russo is a Brooklyn-born Boston resident who has written and played original music and lyrics for rock/pop/country/alternative bands for the past 15 years. He is self-taught on piano, guitar and bass, with a great degree of success on all. From his bio:
Dann Russo pours rock, blues, country, gospel, and every other type of real down-home music into his performance like the sweat that pours from his brow…wrenching emotion out of [his guitar]…he energizes crowds with his sometimes gruff, sometimes gravelly, sometimes sweet voice.

Dann has also become a superstar in the on-line world of Second Life as Dann Numbers, playing numerous shows every week streaming from his basement to computer speakers all over the world. He recently was the showcase performer at the opening of the Chichen Itza sim (operated by the Tourism Board of Mexico) singing a two hour show of Spanish and English cover songs and original songs, as well as regular slots at other SL clubs. Dann’s recent EP, release date 03/04/08, “i’m a Numbers kind of guy” includes songs recorded live from various concerts in Second Life.
