Contemporary jazz guitarist Federico Guillermo has released
his fourth CD " Peace Forever".
"Peace Forever" contains nine original compositions penned
by Federico and recorded in his home studio in Cadyville,
NY. Photos of the Saranac River in Cadyville grace the CD''s
covers.
"The world seems different since my last CD Blue Rico,
released in the spring of 2001. I know my life is
different since that spring I have been making a living
giving guitar lessons at St. John''s School in
Plattsburgh,NY and in my home in Cadyville.(Not many giging
oportunities in these parts)
One of my compositions from Blue Rico "Breath" was picked
up as the theme for a radio call in program in Melbourne,
Florida, and "Embraced Joy" another original tune has
become a favorite of local DJ. Saving the best news for
last I met a wonderful lady that same spring on the
Internet, she was then a math professor living in Columbia,
South America; now she is my wife and one of the songs on
Peace Forever "Helena" is dedicated to her.
"Peace Forever" was recorded over Thanksgiving break in
2003, I felt a need to release these songs and move on to
new material that could not blossom until I had harvested
the present crop.
Oh! Almost forgot; I got an XM satellite radio last summer
and that feeling of joy that I felt as a boy in NYC
being able to hear a world of music at the turn of the
radio dial is back , thank God.
Yes, the world is different since the spring of 2001, we
need to express Love "Mi Amor" endlessly "Forevermore", not
endless war " Dubya Dubya III" and we need to be "Choosing
Love" shedding "Tears Of Joy", practicing "Pre-Emptive
Love" and telling the "Truth" and most importantly "Peace
Forever".
