Ellen started singing with rock bands at the age of 15 in Bristol, England, and has more recently performed in a Connecticut based rock band (Tin Roof), country band (The Black Moon Band) and as a solo acoustic artist. She knows how to sing pretty and how to belt in the best angry-girl tradition, her voice often being compared to that of Pat Benetar or Melissa Etheridge. She can currently be found rockin'' Connecticut clubs with THE BIRD''N''BOYS, whose three other members (Mike Finer on lead guitar, Tommy Wilson on bass and Mikey Posser on drums) contributed their talent to the original cd “Movin’ On”.
