Markit Zero was formed as any great band should be, a couple of friends playing together and making it into an official band in 2005. Naturally drawn to each other, two great guitarists were destined to collaborate, and the sonic framework was laid out by Becky and Mike. The rhythmic structure was then reinforced by Nate and Jon, and their desire to constantly push the envelope of composition and complexity. The final touch was added in 2006 when Nick "napsis" joined the band coalescing into the musical force we know today. With extensive experience in the live music scene they roll with professionalism to match their solid musicianship.
Performing all around New England, Markit Zero is set to release their debut full length album, One in Nothing. Their sound is the epitome of rock music yet something completely new. They have a familiar sound but are completely unique at the same time. They are truly the Markit Zero.
