While music, as a whole, slowly melds itself together into one gigantic incarnation of the same thing, there remain a few bands that refuse to lower there standards and believe that the "music" is what is most important. Fivestar is one of these bands. Formed in 2002, Fivestar have been making music together for the past 2 years. Like any band that strives for improvement, fivestar is constantly changing; whether it is the occasional line up change or the steady evolution of music and songwriting, in the end all that matters is the music.
Every influence and every evolution of the band has contributed to the release of their first self recorded, self produced full length. Funded for pressing/release entirely by endless hours of mindless retail tedium, manual labor, parental favors, and unemployment insurance, the band has dedicated 100% of its efforts both within the band environment and out to creating and distributing the best music it can.
