Notes on the CD High Drift
This is a compilation of several ambient tracks which flow nicely one to the next. The CD starts strongly with an attention-grabbing piece titled "Europa" which settles into a trance-like state that leads into a series of soft, ambient pieces to soothe your mind. About an hour later I re-awaken you to a short closing piece titled "Anxious Moment" that brings you back to real life! I do hope you enjoy this CD. Comments are always welcome.
BIO
The computer age was born while I was in graduate school and I began to experiment with various music-related software. During this time my music tastes drifted away from popular music to more subdued tones. I began listening to radio programs like ''Hearts of Space'' and ''Echoes'' which featured artists off the mainstream. Nothing substantial emerged from my software experiments until I started using Sound Forge and Acid Pro. My music is enjoyed by listeners who enjoy ambient and techno-jazz music. One of my songs ''Oceanic'' received first place in an electronic music competition and released on a compilation CD.
