Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Simone DeBlasio creates music that combines elements of folk pop and Americana. Her songs are timeless pieces with a story-telling essence that comprise multiple layers of guitar melodies and harmonious vocals.
Simone began playing piano and the accordion at the age of six. By the age of ten she was writing songs and musical scores for neighborhood plays. Over the years she picked up guitar and began performing throughout Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Washington D.C. These days she brings her music to artist venues and coffee houses where her songs engage listeners on an intimate level.
In 2007, she independently released her third album "Grounding the Fall", after having the opportunity to work with legendary musician/producer Larry Treadwell, who has collaborated with notable musicians like the Rolling Stones, Cyndi Lauper, Thomas Dolby and Kelly Clarkson. Since the release her CD has received rave reviews from her growing fan base.
