Add in powerful production from Ainslie Grosser (known most recently for his work with Warner Brothers’ breakout band MuteMath), plus a lyrical dichotomy packed with reality-based reflections that provide hope in a seemingly dark world and Special D’s astute leaps forward are undeniable.
