I guess that kind of describes this collection of songs. Some songs have a familiar feel to them while others might make you a little nervous. This cd contains my usual political and social commentary with, as one reviewer said, "a cutting truth to the lyrics". But new, for me, is the addition of what you might call "love songs''. Yeah, it''s all touchy-feely. Don''t worry, there''s still plenty of songs about guys jumping off balconies and drowning in icy rivers, as well as, songs about exploited immigrants and those dirty, low-down, lying politicians.

A last minute addition to the album was, "The Sun Won''t Shine" which considers the long term effects of a nation on anti-depressants in the wake of the shootings at the mall in Omaha last December and the recent NIU shootings.
