Versus you is a three-piece indie / rock / pop punk band from Luxembourg. Their sound is similar to bands (and influences) like Jawbreaker, Pixies, Brand New, Nirvana or Weston. Versus You is Eric Rosenfeld on electric guitars, acoustic guitars and lead vocals, Giordano Bruno on bass and Mike Lahier on drums and backing vocals. Versus you was founded in 2005 by Eric Rosenfeld, Giordano Bruno and Pit Romersa, who left the band due to personal reasons in 2006 after a year and a long list of shows. The band played shows with bands like Nick Oliveri and the Mondo Generator, Defdump, Jordan and more. Versus you’s new drummer is called Mike Lahier who was a former member of Nervous Chillin’. Their debut full-length record ‘Marathon’ was released in 2006 by Fond of Life Records. Right now the band is in the studio working on their second record. In 2007 they’ve already played over 50 shows already and will play festivals like the Rock-a-field festival in Luxembourg City where they will support bands like THE KILLERS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, BILLY TALENT, THE HIVES and JULI. The new album “This is The Sinking” is in the Mixing Process and hopefully out in Winter 2007.
