Dan Weltman is originally from New Jersey. He learned to play guitar and went to school in L.A.,where he lived in a dive just off the Boulevard in Hollywood. Many life lessons later that road lead to a band called Sweet Daddy Redd down in Austin Texas, where he learned a lot about playing and performing. Then traveled all over the country with a band called M.C. Overlord. He helped collaberate with some of the areas finest musicians, but still felt a lack of fulfillment. The void was filled when he moved back to New Jersey, where singing became more of his instrument. He did many solo gigs and had a lot of original songs. It still seemed to need some other influence. So the call went a guy by the name of Jason Jack
that Dan met in Austin Texas. Jason decided to give the east coast a shot and they finished an album that deserves
a listen. The album is called "breaking the surface" and it was recorded at Joe DeMaio''s Shorefire Recording studio with an extremely talented producer by the name of J3. The Dan Weltman Band can be seen at The Bitter End and other New York Venues. https://www.tradebit.com
