I am a resident of Norco, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, and raised by my Grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Melvin C. Morris. Parents, the late Marilyn and Felton Adams. I am happily joined in marriage to Melentia Monique Adams. I’ve been blessed with two children, Shalon Reed Adams, and little Melvin Adams, Jr.
I am a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, pastured by the Rev. Forell Bering, Sr. I am a minister of music at the Rising Star Baptist Church, pastured by the Rev. Donald Ray August. After playing for 23 years at various churches, I feel I’ve been truly blessed in so many ways. So in return, my goal is to help somebody throughout his or her travels along the way.
If I can cheer somebody with a word of a song; if I can show somebody when they’re traveling wrong, then my living is not in vain.
