Extraordinary Gospel vocalist and songwriter, Rose Boyd, is Connecticut’s newest Gospel recording artist, and is ready to take the world by storm. Rose just completed her first single, “Lord I Praise You,” produced by her husband Craig Boyd and The Allen Boy of the Heavy Weights (producer of the hit single “Do You” by Ne-yo). In addition, her anointed CD entitled “Sing Your Way into a Praise,” is Joyful Records LLC featured artist and is scheduled for release in late March 2008.
A lifelong resident of Waterbury, Rose is the wife of Craig Boyd, a dynamic Gospel music songwriter. She and her husband work together extensively writing, performing and recording Gospel music as divinely inspired, to introduce a fresh new sound with an uncompromising message.
Rose is a member of the Faith Center Church in Meriden, Connecticut, under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Joseph and Lady Maddaline Norfleet. It is here that she serves as an anointed Levite, Psalmist, lead vocalist, and primary member of the Music ministry.
Singing from the age of 7, music has always been her passion. Rose could best be described as kind, gentle, sweet-spirited, soft-spoken, yet devout and unwavering when it comes to her faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. In addition to creating music on her keyboard, Rose’s favorite pastime is shopping for shoes. She is a savvy, young, and stylish young woman, with a unique, riveting voice.
