Details:
Flexible Robinson are an exciting new rock band from Haslemere in Surrey.
Formed in 2005, this is a solid mix of experience and enthusiasm that has created a powerful, contemporary and accessible sound.
Beautifully crafted songs, meaty hooks and infectious guitars have seen them grow in popularity over the last few months.

Floron Florenzo (vocals, guitar): The bands lead singer and songwriter, Floron Florenzo, has fronted many bands in the past and released 2 independent singles. In 1984 his band, Two Chances, supported The Smiths, and previous bands had supported Paul Young''s Street Band and The Jam. He''s recorded a video at Pete Townsend''s Eel Pie Studios and also narrowly missed out on landing a major contract with Virgin to XTC. Floron has performed and recorded as a solo artist for the past few years and has sold over 500 copies of his album, Thunderstruck, on the internet. He has also honed his skills as a producer and engineer in the studio and is currently recording Flexible Robinson''s first EP. This includes four brand new tracks and will be available on CD on 25 June 2005.
Influences include Bowie, Radiohead and John Lennon.

Sim Eckstein (lead guitar, vocals): Sim started learning guitar when he was nine and joined his first band, ''No Label'', at the age of fifteen. He then went on to form ''Calamus'', a heavy rock band with a strong local following. His atmospheric textural guitar parts and riffs have a strong influence on Flexible Robinson. Sim plays a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson Les Paul and musical influences include Pearl Jam, Incubus and U2.

John Regula (bass): John played guitar in ''Calamus'' before embarking on bass guitar for Flexible Robinson. He has a flair for interesting guitar runs combined with the steady bass line. He is currently studying for a degree in Music Production at the Academy of Comtemporary Music in Guildford. Influences include Incubus and Pearl Jam.

Paul Ridout (drums): Paul started drumming in rock/blues bands in South Wales in the 60s and has played in numerous bands around the UK since then. Recent local bands include ''Drums and Wires'', ''Red Gecko'' and ''Crunch''. Paul uses a Pearl Custom Export acoustic kit for gigs and a Roland TDK electronic kit in the studio. Musical influences include Led Zeppelin, Police and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
