Tie a Yellow Ribbon follows three Asian American women struggling to find their identity within America''s predominantly white towns and suburbs. Made by Korean adoptee American filmmaker, Joy Dietrich, the film seeks to raise awareness of a critical yet often ignored social condition-that Asian American girls have the highest rates of depression of all racial/ethnic and gender groups in the U.S. Among women aged 15-24, they have the highest suicide mortality rates across all racial groups. Tie a Yellow Ribbon hopes to offer this under-served community of Asian American girls a voice and ultimately ease their sense of isolation. 411 on TIE A YELLOW RIBBON, and to view production stills and a teaser visit our website at https://www.tradebit.com

Brick-a-Brac at The Brick! The monthly variety show that
offers...variety!

This month, Brick-a-Brac is hosted by Eliot Laurence and Stephanie Mnookin of the long-running, alternative comedy show, "GUILE." "''Guile'' is the whitest thing on the planet. Whiter than chalk or Hollywood Squares. But much like Chalk or Hollywood Squares when you start
watching Guile you quickly have a boner and a dollop of drool coming out of your smiling mouth." -- Adam McKay, co-writer and director of "Anchorman."

This month''s acts:

Trav S.D.
Downtown theatre legend Trav S.D. is back with a batch of songs from the old song bag...including several from "Getting to Now, or It''s All Good" his upcoming musical about the Manson Family.

Bad Ass Clown

"There is something wrong with me and they can''t figure out what it is."
A rant, a run on sentence, heightened every day chatter between your MRI and your CATscan. Come and get gooey with a reading of "There is something wrong with me and they can''t figure out what it is."
Directed by Honor Mosher.

Florence Yoo
Florence Yoo is a Korean American wisenheimer/singer/songwriter. Folks keep letting her play, who knows why? https://www.tradebit.com

Here are the particulars from
*AWESOME* Kira Onodera:

"The Crease Question" is about an hour long, with a lovely opening act by my pal Florence Yoo. A very talented singer, songwriter, comic and all around cool Asian chic that rocks! My stuff is kind of sad and funny and all written and performed by me! A little help from Ali Costine and Luis Vega on my ranting and raving piece about working in the restaurant https://www.tradebit.comng your friends, please. There is only one woman in this darn thing, I need to fill the seats.

From Florence: I''ve seen excerpts from the show -- it''s HOT ! HOT! HOT! Beautifully written/performed and directed by the multi-talented ONODERA! Come on by, yo! Muchas gracias in advance, Amigas/Amigos!
