Details:
"Hell City Recording artists, Euphoric Haze, is ready to drop their latest offering “Losing Sleep” and believe us, you’ll want this one for your collection! An eclectic collection of smoldering hot tracks, Euphoric Haze is not one to stay put in any single genre, preferring to roam across different platforms while leaving their fans exasperated. Leading off with the power punk smash Tomorrow, a fast paced tune featuring Howard Whitaker’s vocals, which take on an uncanny resemblance to that of Bowie’s “China Girl” years. Guitarist Paul Space turns the heat up with an extraordinary riff on Pins and Needles which in our opinion is the quintessential track of the disc. Backed by the powerful rhythm section of Sean Branham (bass) and John Falasco (drums), Euphoric Haze doesn’t back off, bringing the Desperate Boy out of the closet and into the light, they’ll have you singing the chorus after your second listen. “Losing Sleep” succeeds as one of those discs you can play cover to cover, yet you’ll still find yourself pushing play again as the hooks jump around your head begging to be heard just one more time. Lanced throughout with enormous hooks, Euphoric Haze eventually slows it down on Precious, an emotional cry for help that ends with an equally cool bang! The title track, Losing Sleep, completes the circle as it fringes on the verge of an all out metal anthem that would be an appropriate fit for the 2500 Club as well as the Lager House. Diversity certainly comes to the forefront with Euphoric Haze as “Losing Sleep” holds a song for darn near any genre you may favor, winding through rock, punk and even that classic Detroit garage sound. Detroit Rock Review gives this disc a great big thumbs up as we are positive that no matter your taste in music, Euphoric Haze will have you “Losing Sleep” trying to find that “stop” button that will elude your fingers until your Ipod loses it’s charge!
