Good as Dead started in Jesse''s shed in May of 2003.
GAD has played at many different local venues, including clubs like The Moonlight Lounge, The Cell Theater, The Attic, The Hole, The Compound and the Launchpad. GAD has headlined shows at The Launchpad, NMX, The Cell Theatre, and The Compound, as well as played with the likes of The Academy Is, Halifax, Bayside, Alesona, the Higher, My American Heart, June, The Forecast, Permanent Me, the Kinison, Scatter the Ashes, the Akas, Park, the Start, Over It, Dear and the Headlights and many more. GAD also gained fans by touring parts of New Mexico in 2005. Lobster Records showed interest in GAD by saying, "Promising sound with a great future" . GAD has also been nominated for a New Mexico Mic Award with producer John Wall, as well as gained a very powerful fan base. GAD has performed and talked on well respected radio talk show Radioactive Albuquerque with Bryan Styble. In September of 2006, Good as Dead was put onto the 2006 Sexy Killer Records Compilation with their song "Riddle Me This." This track, as well as many others August 15th.
