Franky''s journey as a solo artist began by composing and preparing material for the hit debut album "Family Portraits" and launching his solo career as a latin-jazz piano player. At the time of the 8th Edition of the Puerto Rico Heineken Jazz Festival, he started producing the follow up record "Yo Interior" which will be available soon. In this recording Franky gives the listener a variety of flavors, from poetic composing like Franky''s own Compasion "Compassion" to explosive horn arrangements like the big band version of Jobim''s Chega de Saudade "No more Blues".
Franky''s passion for jazz has make him collaborate with two excellent local musicians in a new project called Metrópoli. A jazz-trio recording venture which will include original music along with arrangement of all time favorite standards.
"Tradicion Navideña" is another success story in Franky''s solo carreer. A beautiful Christmas album full of pure classic songs from Latin-America. From "Silent Night" to Rafael Hernandez "Campanitas de Cristal"
Franky is working in the advertising world and colaborating with artists like Ricky Martin, Glenn Monroig, Michael Stuart, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Ray Barreto and others.
