MP3 Frantic Radio Beings - Unearthed

Second set from Nashville''s best rock band that will electrify AND purify your soul at the same time.

12 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Classic Rock, ROCK: Modern Rock

Details:
Many things have happened to FRB since their infamous "Lights Out At Lindsley" show.

(On that night a severe storm knocked out the lights right at the climax of the band''s eerie alien abduction song "Taken Away" from their self-titled debut album at 3rd and Lindsley, Nashville''s premier indie music venue. It was almost as if the band commanded the moment at will.)

Many things have indeed happened. FRB replayed that show and went on to win the Bud Lite True Music Band competition that night. They also inked a record deal with Wyde Open Records. Then they went into the studio to record "Unearthed", the follow-up release to their self-titled debut album.

"Unearthed" finds FRB in a more aggressive mood, and taking it out on the listener during the first half of the album. The record then drifts into a great contrast of dark against light, as the songs address issues such as betrayal, aging, love among the undead, spoiled rich upstarts, turning your back on a friend, and self-discovery.

Being what it is, it is definitely a record that never lacks emotion. Some have labeled it Classic Rock Revisited, some have labeled it Modern Rock, and others have just refused to label it at all, due to the many influences that one hears when first discovering this Nashville treasure.

Drummer/Keyboardist Charles David Schwartz comments..."We had a great time making this record. With this being a sophmore release, everyone knew their role and executed it with more authority this time around. I believe the songs are better and have more to say."

Frantic Radio Beings formed in 2001 when lifelong friends Kevin True, Daphne, and Charles David Schwartz decided to stop working in dead-end bands and to do something together. The result was a unique sound that can only be identified as FRB, due to the extreme bucket of influences of each individual band member. Industry leaders have said that the band is such a mix of influences that the only possible result would be something new and fresh. Think of a combo that includes the likes of Portishead, Bjork, Republica, Evanescence, Faith No More, Cranberries, Toto, and many others thrown in a pot, stirred up, and emptied into a sound system. What flows out is something sure to leave a lasting impression.

"...Unusual, interesting, and powerfully making a statement...such a professionally executed CD..."

-TAXI A&R Staff Review

"...''Unearthed'' offers exuberantly sung and tightly played original rock that''s alternately stark, poignant, joyful and animated. FRB''s a fine entry among Nashville rockers, and Unearthed represents substantial progress from their previous release."

-Ron Wynn - Nashville City Paper

Recorded at The Closet in Nashville, TN
