The Double Pumpers have been around since January 2003. Comprised of drummer Paul Granger, guitar player/vocalist Dave Martindale and bass player/vocalist Damian Sawka. The band plays a mix of 70''s riff rock, 60''s psych, and delta blues.
The Double Pumpers have been steadily playing in Ontario and Quebec and have shared the stage with The Bellrays, Nebula, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, 20 Miles, Bionic, Immortal Lee County Killers, C''mon, Iron Giant, Starvin Hungry, Pride Tiger, The Illuminati, The Bloody Hollies and Five Horse Johnson. Plans for 2008 include record release parties in a 10 hour radius of Ottawa, the summer festival circuit and a east coast tour.
Other bands the members are in are Ottawa favorites Ukrainia!, HiloTrons, TokyoSexWhale, Lords of Vanier and Magnificent Butchers.
