"On My Way" is Isidro Morin''s long awaited debut album which has been received with open arms. It''s an album with a story, a story about overcoming obstacles and about moving forward no matter how bumpy the road gets. It''s also an album about love and everything in-between;
happiness, sorrow, pleasure and sometimes even regret. On the title track "On My Way" Isidro sings; "When you loose it all, you tend to hit the ground, just to find your life to be, the only treasure that you''ve found" with those lyrics he sums up the message of this album, sometimes you need to loose it all, in order to see the things that truly matter most.
"The story behind the music"
Have you ever had the feeling that everything is in its place? That everything will be OK? A moment of complete peace and euphoria? That''s how Isidro Morin felt the first time he uncovered the power of creating his own music. And this changed the path of his life forever.
Although only 18 at the time of this discovery, Isidro had already accumulated enough life experience to fill many albums worth of original material. Raised by a single mother in the dangerous and difficult areas around Los Angeles, California, he had lived in many different places, including a car. He struggled through his family''s financial difficulties, alcoholism, and even his own abandonment and sexual abuse. These difficulties were fortunately offset with beautiful and sacred experiences, like discovering the power of music as a release from his life’s troubles.
"If it wasn’t for music, I have no clue what my life might have become, who knows, I might even be dead. As a teenager I always felt lost and misunderstood, then one day I was introduced to rock and roll and it saved my life...”
Each of these experiences can be drawn on to create songs, which flow out of Isidro as if creating themselves.
"Each of my songs has a meaning of its own, a personal meaning, even though I don''t always understand it right away. Sometimes the meaning comes to me when I''m performing it live for the first time. The audience might have a different interpretation of it based on their own experiences, to me that makes it even more special."
If there is one message Isidro wants to convey through his music, it’s “hope”. Hope that we can overcome any obstacles set in our path, because we are not alone, no matter how dark the world can seem at times.
"Hope is the most important message I want my music to convey. Hope from life’s challenges and unfair experiences. I would never want to be lied to and told that life is perfect, because that’s the farthest from the truth. However we all have the fire within us to keep moving forward and thanks to the power of music we don’t have to do this alone."
Isidro has been sharing his experiences performing his original compositions for the past five years around the greater Phoenix area. He is building a strong following through his passionate performances that are full of emotion and energy, as well as an endearing self-deprecating wit. Isidro continuously leaves audiences assured that he is 100% dedicated to his craft.
"One of my greatest passions is performing live, that is my opportunity to make that connection that will give the listener an opportunity to experience something magical, something that can’t ever be explained in words. I feel lucky each day that God blessed me with the opportunity to express myself through the power of music. "
