Eighteen year old songwriter Justin Kopec developed his passion for music at a young age. Justin has been playing the piano since he was seven years old and singing along to songs on the radio since he could speak. Since the age of twelve, Justin has written over a hundred songs, each with its own message, insightful lyrics, and distinct sound. Justin’s passion is to write music about lessons he has learned and issues that he and many other young people face in the world today. Justin’s hope is to connect to his listeners through his music, while at the same time helping people to connect with each other. His music covers a range of genres from pop rock to folk to electronica. Some of Justin’s strongest influences are Vanessa Carlton, Gavin Mikhail, Gavin DeGraw, and Missy Higgins. More recently, Justin has been working on recording and producing his music. Justin has been busy the past couple years working with Center Street Sound on his debut album, “Becoming," which contains a variety of insightful, lyrical, melodic, and truly beautiful and catchy songs.
