In the early 1970s, Ginny Schilling wrote a number of songs for a local children''s theater group in southern California, performing a spoof of Beauty and the Beast. Years later she began to perform these same songs for her children and grandchildren. In the spring of 2006, Ginny realized that the songs would be so much more vibrant with the addition of a story line. Thus began the homespun story of Little Beauty and the Beast, with this CD as its final product.
