“Venny is from my last name, and Outrageous just fits,” were the words of aspiring music mogul Venny Outrageous as he introduces himself.
Born in Chicago and raised in Atlanta, Venny O. has always had a love for music. With inspirations from artists such as Tommy Wright III, Playa Fly, Eight Ball& MJG, and Outkast, the talented artist emerged into the industry as a teenager in high hopes of creating his own music to display to the world. He describes it as ‘universal’; something everyone can relate to. With production from Arnaz “The Nasty One” Smith, Venny O. is on the road to achieving his goal.
Now a solo artist, Venny O’s versatility assists in his appeal to all audiences. His countless life experiences motivate him to cover all aspects of life and a spectrum of topics. “I want my albums to be like great movies,” said the music extraordinaire. “They will take you through every emotion.” Although he conquers all aspects of life, he expresses his views in expectation to affect people in positive ways. With his “laid back” style and multifaceted personality, Venny O. supersedes the negative stereotype of rap artists. The music industrialist vows to put himself in positions necessary to help others with the same tools and aspiration as he has.
Also inspired by music entrepreneurs such as Master P, P. Diddy, and Jermaine Dupri, the determined rap artist is dedicated to hard work in and out of the studio. He often refers to himself as a “liaison to the city”. With such motivation, Venny O. and previous group members sold about 40,000 copies of their first album by hand. “We were basically just hitting the club scene trying to let everybody know that we ‘ain’t’ going anywhere,” he said. “We have to keep the streets buzzin’ too.”
As an independent artist Venny O. has established Commercial Underground Entertainment with the help of his business partner. Although his music may be considered commercial, it appeals to the underground audience. His hit single ‘Cheeks on My White Tee’ is currently an “internet phenomenon” and a “club banger” in various Atlanta night clubs and surrounding cities.
