Vincent Inciong is a full time high school music teacher in the central Jersey area and has been performing in the singer/songwriter circuit since the release of his first album, “Perspectives,” in 2005. Although relatively new as a songwriter, Vincent is no stranger to the stage. He started his musical training at the age of nine, guitar at 12, and holds a B.M. in Music Education/Percussion and an M.M. in Percussion Performance.
Residing in Piscataway, NJ, Vincent performs mostly original music with the help of his BOSS Loop Station and an array of other effect pedals to create unique acoustic sounds that can be dry, ambient, or multi-layered for self accompaniment. Vincent loves to experiment with different sound textures to twist the aural perception of acoustic music while still staying true to the integrity of the songwriting.
“ONLY HUMAN” is the product of his songwriting from the past three years and is his latest offering of acoustic music with rock, blues, funk, and jazz styling which is accompanied by hand percussion in some of the tracks. Lyrical themes range from love, loss, anger, and the pursuit of contentment that are accompanied by rhythmic/percussive guitar playing.
