O.K., here is a brief bio of my music background. I am the son of famed Broadway singer; Mace Barrett. I’ve been playing guitar and singing, all my life!
I studied guitar at “The Guitar Study Center” in NYC. I took guitar lessons from the great Pat Martino. I even got a few guitar pointers from Larry Coryell and John McLaughlin backstage at The Bottom Line Night club in NYC.
I spent my early years playing around Greenwich Village in NYC. I moved to Los Angeles and played all the nightclubs here. i.e. The Roxy, The Whiskey, Troubadour, Country Club. I toured for awhile with the Thundercatz, as a lead singer / frontman.
We also toured and played with the famous G.L.O.W. Wrestlers from the famous
T.V. show.
I have just completed my debut CD “I Believe” John Tesh from “WORLD VOICE NEWS” quoted the music as “ Devon Scott Dicker has put together a fine collection of spiritual and uplifting songs. This would be a nice addition to anyone’s record stack. This is family music”
