Originally from the rural Australian township of Bluewater, near Townsville, Daniel has been actively involved in music since he first picked up the guitar at age 11. After graduating from uni with a Bachelor of Theatre (technical production), he moved to Brisbane in 2005 and joined a duo called Mayhem, who perform most weekends in pubs and clubs around South-East Queensland.
Since then, Daniel has also begun playing solo and has independently recorded and released his debut EP, Comfort Zone. Consisting of six self-penned tracks, Comfort Zone effectively mixes acoustic and rock elements to create an open, positive sound.
