Daniel “KWIZZ” Mathieu is originally from Brooklyn, NY. He is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, with a Bachelor’s degree in History. He recently graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Kwizz has been blessed and inspired with a gift to write music since the age of 12 years old. He has done recordings in the past of secular music, but after developing a more intimate relationship with his creator, Kwizz decided to change the sector of music that he performs. Being in the field of social work, troubled youth and their issues are near and dear to his heart. From the need and concern for attention in this area was birthed his debut album: “Riding With Christ”. This project includes a wide range of social issues including suicide, child abuse, prayer, the joys of marriage, self-love, waiting on God, war, fatherhood and much more. The music is approached with a strong emphasis on God’s holy word; the Bible.
Kwizz’s label, INTER-VENTION Music’s mission is to foster love, peace, and happiness that spreads positive music throughout the world to mankind. Reverend Charles E. Nesbitt, Kwizz’s minister is featured on the project as well as his own wife, Shaunda Mathieu. Her traditional, soulful vocals are sure to grab the ear of the listener who ‘thinks’ they don’t care for rap music. Got you covered too.
